The Arab Association for Human Rights -RAHRA HRA has produced the second new report: "PUSHED OUT OF THE MARGINS: A Report on the 2015 Election Campaign and its Impact on the Palestinian Minority in Israel, providing an update and detailed analysis of the current Israeli election campaign. The report focuses several aspects including:
- Scenarios Involving the Joint List
- Boycott Movement
- Media Bias
- Incitement and violence
- Disqualification hearings
From the weeks of campaigning during this election, the report draws main conclusions related to:
- The political environment being created around the campaign, and effects of the incitement directed towards the Palestinian Arab minority.
- The impact of the creation of the Joint List, on the future struggle of the Palestinian Arab Minority; " it could contribute positively to the minority’s collective identity, and its struggle as a community for Individual and national collective rights."
The HRA hopes that, by continue documenting extremely negative developments and trends, the international community will be able to notice the status a human rights, and actively be aware and closely monitor its impact on the Palestinian Arab minority in Israel.
